SweetPod is a podcast discovery and curation platform. We are based in Canada and operate under the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, Quebec's Law 25.

When you create a SweetPod account, we collect:
We do not currently collect your email address, phone number, location, or any payment information on the free tier.
When you use SweetPod, we may also store the Loops you create and the podcasts you follow — this is content you intentionally create and is part of the service.

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the SweetPod service.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a hosted database platform built on PostgreSQL, with servers located in the United States. Supabase encrypts data at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption (TLS/AES-256). You can read Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.
We use Row Level Security (RLS) policies and database-level constraints to ensure data integrity and limit access. Input sanitisation is applied to all user-submitted content before it is stored.
Like all web services, our infrastructure automatically logs technical data including IP addresses as part of normal server operation. This is used solely for security and abuse prevention and is not used to identify or track individual users. We do not have direct access to these logs — they are held by Supabase under their own privacy policy.
We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes.

SweetPod does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. We use localStorage in your browser to remember your session and preferences. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
SweetPod is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SweetPod after changes means you accept the updated policy.
